Sustainable living, lasting impact – Lowering carbon emissions

In the EU, over 40% of fossil fuel energy, contributing to carbon dioxide emissions, comes from heating and cooling buildings. Expanding the use of rigid polyurethane foam could cut the EU’s carbon dioxide emissions by 10%. With around 160 million buildings, which account for over 40% of the EU’s energy use and 36% of its carbon dioxide emissions, enhancing building insulation is crucial. Viopol’s Polyurethane insulation system, an affordable and durable insulation material, significantly reduces heat loss and aids in keeping buildings cool, reducing the need for air conditioning and thereby lowering carbon emissions.
