Cold rooms in large stores and supermarkets store fresh and frozen products using polyurethane-cored sandwich panels to maximize space and minimize energy use. These panels that can be produced with Viopol’ systems. Refrigerated display cabinets also, could be insulated with Viopol high-density, closed-cell polyurethane foam for superior insulation. Given that refrigeration accounts for 35-50% of a supermarket’s energy use, polyurethane insulation significantly reduces energy consumption and costs.
